For those who, through MRC, are members of BRC you will hopefully have seen the BRC Committee E-News dated 26.11.24 regarding free funding for your club through Christmas shopping.  As a reminder and for all non members who will not have received the email,

the relevant paragraph is shown below :

Did you know 70% of shoppers will do their Christmas shopping online this year.  And did you know this shopping can easily turn into funding for your riding club?

Everyone’s favourite Christmas gift retailers like eBay, Amazon, Nike, Argos, John Lewis, Currys, JD Sports, M&S, Boots, Waterstones, Screwfix and more will all donate money to your riding club when your members, supporters, volunteers, trustees and club community shop with them.

It's very easy - an online shopper simply buys something from one of the above retailers or 8,000 others, and the retailer sends your riding club a free donation as a thank you at no extra cost to the shopper.  All you need to do is tell your club community about it and watch the donations come in.

Mortimer Riding Club is now registered with easyfundraising, which means you can help us for FREE.  Over 8,000 retailers will donate to us when you use easyfundraising to shop with them – at no extra cost to yourself! All you need to do is sign up and remember to use easyfundraising whenever you shop online.  It’s easy and completely FREE! Alternatively, we have a QR code that supporters can scan to go straight to the easyfundraising page for Mortimer Riding Club and register.  The QR code is attached above and you just have to scan it and sign up. You can also download the QR code onto your phone or laptop. 

With the additional funds we may receive, it will be possible for us to keep our event entry fees down for both members and non members thereby enabling you to get out and enjoy competing without it costing you too much.  We do hope that you will register with easyfundraising
